I'm smarter than Cici.

Max refuses to wear socks.  And, on our recent trip to Memphis I had no feetie pjs because we live in FL.  Well, my Mom put knee highs on his legs thinking he wouldn't be able to get them off.  It took about 1 minute and he had both of those socks off his legs.  He would pull the sock off a little bit and then use the other foot for leverage to get the rest of it off.  He's a smart guy.  I should have gotten out the video camera, but I didn't have time.  This is the backwards progression.

First Hair Cut

Max was starting to look a little crazy.  We trimmed the back and the sides, but didn't touch the top.  He has a very strong cow lick on top.  He loved the comb on his neck.

Teddy Bear

It was cold out before church so Max got to wear his teddy bear outfit.  He fell asleep as I was dressing him.  Mom and Dad worked the nursery that day so he got to visit with other children before he went to Sunday school.

Kane and Max

Kane and Max are finally starting to interact with each other.

8 months going on 2 years

My Mom and I took Max to ride the carousel at the mall.  He did NOT want my Mom to hold on to him.  I got one little clip of him trying to push her hand away.  Afterwards we ate in the food court where Max had a toddler's temper tantrum about being in the high chair.  He arched his back, flailed his legs and screamed.  Isn't he too young for that? 

Swing

We got our swing as a shower gift from my friends Nikki, Hollie and Jenny.  Man, have we gotten their money's worth!  Max is starting to get too tall for it.  Now he just curls his legs up and goes right to sleep.  He is so sweet.  The weight limit is 30 lbs so we can use it for a little while longer.  However, it does swing much more slowly now.

Pipsqueak

These shoes "squeak" every time Max puts his foot down.  I personally find them to be very annoying, but I think they are good for encouraging Max to move.  I don't think he's figured out that he is making the noise.  But, he does enjoy them.  He also likes getting them off.  Max does not like socks and shoes.  We blame it on the SWFL lifestyle!
