Christmas Card!

I took a fantastic picture of Max for our Christmas card. Merry Christmas!

Tuesday, December 20, 2011

It was pretty, while it lasted.

I ran to the restroom and was gone for maybe 3 minutes. I come out to find Max sitting on the kitchen table and playing with that big piece of glass on the left. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt.

Another torturous hair cut.

Gingerbread House

Today DJ and I joined Max at school and made a gingerbread house with his class. Let's say that this was not a favorite activity for Max. He didn't understand why we were in his classroom or why he was using candy he couldn't eat!

Lakeshore

Over Thanksgiving we took Cici and Dude to watch Max swim at Lakeshore Foundation. He loves the water and typically plays hard for 45 minutes then melts down. This time was no exception.

Congressman Spencer Bachus

Max participated in an art contest for our Congressman. Bachus uses artwork from visually impaired kids for his Christmas card. Max submitted a piece with a lot of help from his vision teacher. He was the youngest participant and received a savings bond for his effort. He handled the long reception like a pro!

Missing Sock

We left the house with two socks. Now we have one.

Sweetness

Max played nicely while we grabbed some lunch.

A Mini Van has Perks

The back of a mini van can become a playroom very easily. We had to stop by the Toyota dealership today so we could get new clips for the sunshades. I had to move Max to the back where he immediately found his therapy toys. He could have played back there all day.

Ready for School

I love the way Max looks with his giant backpack.

Dinner with cousins.

Max's cousins have been here since Friday, this is the first picture we managed to get of all of them.

TCB

Max has a lot of business to attend to.

Haircut

Max still acts like he's being tortured.

Leaves!

Are we sure he can't see?

Max has taken to climbing the stairs incessantly. I have Halloween decorations and clothes for Max that need to find their way upstairs. I placed them strategically so I would hear him if he made an attempt. Well, I just caught Max upstairs. None of the items were moved.

Happy Halloween

We had great improvement trick-or-treating this year, compared to last. Max got out of his stroller and walked up to each house to get candy. He did not say "trick-or-treat" though. But, when we got home he said it constantly.

He was a New York Yankee, Derek Jeter.

Lindsay's Wedding

Aunt Amy does a very entertaining "Wheels on the Bus". It is her son Connor's favorite!

I'm tired.

We were all dressed up!

Lindsay and her Dad, Jesse.

My cousin Lindsay got married last weekend in Chapel Hill, NC. She was a beautiful bride and we had a great time. Max was such a gentleman the whole weekend.

Converse

Max's high-top Converse from Uncle B-Rad finally fit. Thank goodness, Max's teacher requested high-tops. She's still having problems with Max taking off his shoes constantly. From my experience, it won't make a difference.

Good Morning!

Breakfast in the Bathroom

Max woke up with a dry diaper this morning. I am not letting him off the potty until he goes. We're listening to music and eating waffles.
