The Dude

Snow!

It snowed in Nakina! I think the look on Max's face says it all. He wasn't too happy about the snow. But, I think it is mandatory to bundle a child up and force them to stay outside so you can get the "first snow" pictures.

Gloves

My Mom bought Max a cute hate, scarf and glove set to match his jacket. Well, I took one look at those gloves and knew she'd have a hard time getting them on Max. You just can't get gloves on somebody who doesn't want to wear them. We were forced to go back to the spider man mittens.

Presents!

Maddie, Mallory and Jocelyn waiting patiently to open their gifts.

Max was very spoiled this year. He has a large family that loves him very much.

Santa!

Nana Q made Max a stocking. Santa knows how much he loves honey buns.
Braille alphabet blocks.
Max got a baby doll stroller to push.

Mega Blok car garage with cars.

Thomas the Train track.

Tricycle

Max's Nana Q got him a tricycle for Christmas. He loves it. He screams "go for a bike ride"!

Naps!

Max took a lot of naps at my Nana's. And, he was held constantly!

Superman, with a Red Ryder

Max was wearing his new Superman pjs from his cousins and checking out his Dad's new toy. Every year we've gone to Bass Pro Shops to get Max's picture taken with Santa, DJ has left with a new fire arm.

Boots

Max still can't walk in his cowboy boots.

Toy Box

Max loves to empty his toy box and then play in it.

Bath Craziness!

Feety PJs

Since Max refuses to leave socks on and not pull his pajamas up over his knees, we've had to move him to feety pajamas. DJ calls them Max's snuggie. He looks so cute!

Collapsed!

Max woke up at 5 am this morning. We were getting the house ready for a 1:30 showing and I found Max like this on the couch snoring. I wish I could have taken a nap! We put him in the car asleep, and grabbed some lunch. He woke up for lunch for course.

New Backpack

Max's Nana made him a new backpack. It stands up on its own and doesn't zip all the way down. Perfect for Max.

Hello!

Santa

(click to make bigger)

We went to see Santa with the Vetters. Max wasn't a fan.

Opening Gifts

DJ's Aunt Kathie sent Max a Christmas gift. I saw it on the porch as we were walking out the door, so I loaded it in the car with Max. Well, I hear paper ripping and I see that Max is opening his gift!

(notice the pant leg pulled above his knee)

Cold Front

A cold front has come through. It is chilly in the morning and evenings, and 65-70 during the day. If you can believe it, Max is wearing long pants in this picture. He pulls all his pants up above his knee, even his pjs. As for the one shoe, Max insists on keeping one shoe off at all times. I had at least 15 people tell me that he was only wearing one shoe at Costco.

Cow Lick

Nap

Max actually took a nap today! And, boy did he need it. When I checked on him I found him with his chewy necklace around his waist.

Plastic Baggie

We've reached another milestone. I can finally hand Max a bag and have him feed himself out of it. It took Max awhile to put his hand in the bag with me holding it open for him. Now, he can do it all by himself!
