2 Liter

Max did a great job "exploring" new places. He found this almost empty 2 liter bottle and had a blast!

Piano

Max is officially in love with the piano. He listens intently and would prefer that you sing while playing. I told DJ that he needs to start saving for a piano, there will be lessons in our future.

July 4th

We celebrated July 4th at my grandmother's house. We got some simple sparklers for Jocelyn and made a flag cake. After dark we went down the street to watch fireworks at the Whaley's. Some small towns don't have a fireworks show as large as the Whaleys. That thermometer is in my grandmother's kitchen. It was cooler outside than it was inside!

Cousin Jocelyn

My cousin Jennifer's daughter Jocelyn was great with Max. She just turned 3 and was great at sharing.

Blind Surfers

I saw this report on the news while I was in North Carolina.

Reading

Max loves to read. On our trip there was always someone on hand to read to him. He has a remarkable attention span for a child his age. My Mom actually read 10 books in one sitting.

We're Back!

Max and I made it home safely from visiting family in North Carolina. We had a great time, but a week and a half is a long time to be away from home. We were both glad to see DJ at the airport. I will slowly update the blog with pictures from out trip.
